Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 July 2026
The Uzbek version of this document is the legally binding one. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience; if they differ, the Uzbek text governs.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and OXFORDER LLC ("OXFORDER", "we", "us"), a company registered in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, governing your use of SHUUR at shuur.uz and its related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Teacher" — a registered user who creates and manages games.
- "Student" — a person who joins and plays a game through a share link, without an account.
- "Materials" — the files, links, media or text a Teacher provides for a game.
- "Content" — the questions, games and reports generated by the Service from Materials.
- "AI" — the automated models we use to generate Content, provided through Google Vertex AI.
2. What SHUUR is
SHUUR turns a Teacher's learning Materials into interactive games using AI. Students play those games through a share link, and the Teacher receives an automatically generated performance report. SHUUR is a tool for educators; it does not replace a teacher's professional judgement and is not itself an educational institution, examination body, or certifier.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create a Teacher account. Students do not create accounts and are not required to register.
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider secure. Tell us at info@oxforder.uz if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
If you use SHUUR on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
4. Your Materials and content
You keep all rights in the Materials you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and transform your Materials solely to operate the Service for you — for example, to extract their text and generate Content.
You confirm that you have the right to use each Material you upload and that doing so does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights. Do not upload Materials you are not permitted to use.
You are responsible for reviewing generated Content before you publish a game (see section 5).
5. AI-generated content
Questions and games are produced by AI from your Materials and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations. AI output is a draft, not a verified fact.
Nothing is ever published automatically. On the review screen you can edit, delete, regenerate or approve every item. By publishing a game you take responsibility for the Content you make available to Students.
We do not warrant that generated Content is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular curriculum or assessment.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, hateful, deceptive, or infringing;
- upload Materials containing malware, or content that is obscene, or that exploits or endangers minors;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, security, or access controls, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or to scrape or resell its output;
- impersonate others or misuse another person's data.
7. Students and reports
Students join a game with a display name and play on their own device. We collect only what is needed to run the game and build the Teacher's report — the join name, answers, scores and timing. Students do not create accounts and we do not build advertising profiles of them.
If your Students are children, you are responsible for having the appropriate authority or consent, under the law that applies to you and your school, to have them use the Service. We act on your instructions as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Plans, billing and refunds
SHUUR offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. The features and prices of each plan are shown at the point of purchase.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Payments are processed by licensed third-party providers (for example Payme and Click in Uzbekistan, and our card processor for international payments). We do not receive or store your full card details.
Prices may change; we will give notice before a change affects your renewal. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, though we will always look at genuine problems fairly — contact info@oxforder.uz.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
9. Fair use and limits
To keep the Service healthy for everyone, generation, uploads and other actions are subject to daily limits, which differ by plan. We may adjust limits, and may throttle or suspend activity that we reasonably believe is abusive, automated, or a threat to the Service or other users.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — its software, design, brand, the SHUUR name and logo, and all related materials — belongs to OXFORDER and is protected by law. These Terms give you the right to use the Service, not any ownership of it. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service, except as the law expressly allows.
11. Third-party services
SHUUR relies on third-party services, including Google Cloud and Google Vertex AI (hosting, storage and AI), Vercel (hosting), and payment providers. When you provide a link or a YouTube video as a Material, or your Content draws on external sources, those third parties' own terms and privacy practices apply to them. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and to improve it, but we provide it on an "as available" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or remove features, and may offer beta features that are still being tested and may be unstable.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give you notice.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content licences you have granted for already-generated games, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnities — continue to apply.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You use the Service, and rely on generated Content, at your own discretion and risk.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OXFORDER will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you are on the free tier, a nominal sum. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold OXFORDER harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising out of Materials you provide, Content you publish, or your breach of these Terms or of another person's rights.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date above and, for significant changes, give reasonable notice. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We will try to resolve any dispute with you amicably first; please contact us. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be submitted to the competent courts of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
